The Deja Vu Experience
those illusions may be spiritual.
What if Deja vu was life’s way of telling us we are on the right path?
This morning I let my mind go on one of its usual trips and it wandered away till it began to wonder if there was a fringe science behind Deja vu.
Deja vu is that brain-tickling illusion of having previously experienced something that in reality is being encountered for the first time.
The scientific theory of Deja Vu
If you’re in the middle of current experience and there happens to be a highly similar prior experience somewhere in your memory, that prior memory can produce a feeling of familiarity with the current situation.
If you happen to be able to call to mind that prior experience consciously recollecting it, then you will not have Deja vu because now you can explain it but if you fail to consciously recollect that conscious experience causing those feelings of familiarity then you are likely to have Deja vu because you are faced with a feeling of familiarity that is not easy to explain.
Some scientists also think Deja vu might be as a result of glitching from your brain.
…
A study was able to show that the more similar a current situation is to a forgotten situation in memory, the more likely Deja vu is. So, what if our soul somehow captures some scenes from a previous lifetime and replays it as Deja vu in our current life?
I once listened to one of Oprah’s Supersoul Conversation with a psychic named Ainslie MacLeod titled “Living the Life your Soul Intended.” This conversation was about the different levels of souls and how our souls keep coming back in different bodies till it gets to the final level which is a level 10 and never returns. Could Deja vu be that our souls in a previous life may have had that experience in a very similar space so our brain replays it as something familiar?
But
What if
Deja vu was not to be completely explained by science? What if Deja vu is more spiritual than it is science?
Remember the saying that goes “we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
So what if Deja vu is life speaking to us at certain times. Maybe Deja vu is like our spirit guides working with us, for us or even around us trying to show us that we are on the right path.
Who knows?
